I practice much but don't have a coach to give me tips like this. I'm also a bit "older" (29), but I want to see how far I can go... I don't think I have peaked yet. These tips are invaluable for someone in my position. Thank you both! <3

Hope you all enjoyed this singles tutorial! 🏸 And a huge thank you to England's number 1 mens singles player, Toby Penty, for helping us out with the demos!

thanks a lot sir am currently an under 15 player and i find it difficult to return the net shot because mot of the times my opponet taps it due to the height or the shuttle mostly dosent even cross the net... now i guess after seeing you video i have got some ideas and will practise it and try to execute it while playing and yes of course thank u sir and mam for ur effort in making videos and helping us improve it means alot :))

Thanks for another great video tutorial.
Will you do a video on how to return a spinning net shot?
And may be return the shot with spin.
Why is the video aimed at singles players and not doubles as well?
I was thinking it might be due to doubles being played at a faster pace. But want to clarify my understanding.

Finally got a court booked and will enjoy trying some of the shots from your videos.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday 😊

Great video guys, really well explained (love the darts reference) and also glad you pointed out that throwing isn’t the only way to practice these :-)

Always excited to watch the videos ! super tutorial with this too..
With the increase in the number of cases in the place where I live, we have stopped going out to the badminton courts. Hope we get there soon...
Looking forward for more videos as usual!

4:00 oh hey kento also covered this on his channel! nice to see different versions of it covered
i actually confused the dead net shot with the "doubles net drop" you covered, turns out you are spinning the racket towards the net for the doubles net drop?

Awesome video as always ! I think you'll (or should ^^) use Kento's clip in every video for the next year ;-). For the difference between the "in to out" or "out to in", I have been told that it also depend on what your opponent is playing, if he plays "in to out" you better play "in to out" and the other way around ... do you think it makes sense ?
