San Tan Valley couple says illegal fireworks lead to their dog's death

The Van Meters have been fostering dogs in their home for almost 15 years and said their dog died from the constant firework noise.

The same thing happened to my grandkids pet rat on Christmas eve. The neighbors were celebrating and the pet rat had a heart attack. The kids were soo upset to discover one of their pets dead on Christmas morning.

The fireworks in AZ are unrelenting. Kids are always blowing their arms and legs off, and parents don't do the responsible thing out here. It's a shame.

Did they try any of the suggestions at the end of the video? Doesn't sound like they did. They knew what they were in for and let the "dog" ride it out? Protect your Or don't. Whatever you do, don't rely on the courtesy of others to save them. Asking for more laws is silly. Its already illegal to use illegal fireworks
