My $400 Dream Custom Keyboard Build...

So in this video, we are building my dream custom keyboard! I've been waiting for so long for this and it's finally here... $400 later and after having to "trim" the PCB... I have my dream keyboard!
the keyboard is the sequence keyboard kit from parallel limited, the switches are from cannon keys, the keycaps are from pbtfans, and I had to use another PCB from another keyboard.. this thing after some mods sounds so good! let me know what you think!

I have replied to some other comment here before but I must say, respect for you dude, for picking what you like instead of going with what's trendy. As long as it sounds great to your ears, and feels great to your fingers to type on, the opinions of others just fades away into the distance. Enjoy your Sequence for many years to come! The keyboard sounded waaay different and muuuch more deeper after the mods.

the keyboard sounds very good after the tape mod! there was a very noticeable metal clack effect especially with the space bar and after the tape mod it sounded much better.

If you ever need to shave off part of a PCB with a dremel again, do it outside. The FR4 dust from the PCB is very toxic and you shouldn't be inhaling it

Btw, if you are really into the "Thocky & Creamy", you should really try out the KAT profile keycaps. It's 1.8mm thick PBT, and that's the creamiest keycaps I have ever tried. The keycap height takes some time to get used to, but I ended up selling all my GMKs afterwards

I liked the board before the mods better, but hey to each their own. I know from experience that keyboards do not sound like sound tests so you are probably in the right
