another small tip: you should put your blocks in your off-hand so you can place blocks to mess up your enemy without resetting your sword cooldown, it really helps when you wanna combo people that are more stacked than you or just trying to block people off

Some hoplite tips you could always benefit from knowing 💯
(I’ve got 12 solo wins so make of that what you will lol obviously I’m not the best player ever but I like to think I know a decent bit)

1) Utilize offhand, blocks I’m offhand is always reliable if you’re chasing someone and they place water infront of you, or a fishing rod to pull runners back.

2) Nether structures typically are at 0, 0 along with a portal, so landing closer to 0, 0 and building a portal there is a Strat I like to do so I spawn closer to the nether but it’s also at risk of a later nether entry, or just use the ores to instamine to 0, 0

3) Easiest legendary is Tim & Katana, if you get looter lvl 3 and land on the big tree structure with the houses, the lowest house has bookshelves and you can mine those for books to get most of the things for Tim.

4) Gaps don’t heal nearly as much as normal due to no saturation healing and yeah, so I only tap before a fight and eat candy during a fight. Though candy may leave soon so yeah

5) Sneaking in deathmatch often alerts me more, and when I see a lack of a nametag you know they’re either not so confident in their PvP or severely under geared, so it kinda does the opposite.
