Hanna USA/EU is solving wrong measurements of Mg level due to bad quality of reagents (raw material)   - sale is on hold / expected new reagents within 07-08/22

Thanks. Interesting to see your results. From what I’ve seen so far there are many Hanna Mag checkers that are reading 200-300ppm too high.
Hanna may be having some QC challenges with this one. Will see in time what the deal is I guess. Cheers

Good video. I didn't know that Hanna had a mag test. I have been using the Red Sea mag test, which is a pain in the neck to perform. I haven't done a test in months. I may be grabbing a Hanna checker in the near future. I already have the alk, po4, and both nitrate testers from Hanna. I never used the low range nitrate kit. Way too much work.

I would say that is no faster than using the Salifert Mg test, but I would bet it is more accurate. Interesting that your Mg is that low. Are you still using your Ca reactor? Thanks.
