Four years ago, huh! The present reviews in 2016 paint a different picture. With a new range of engines and the Tech Line trim offered, it's a different story. I have had one MK 1 (A) Zafira, 5 MK2 (B) and about to take ownership of a MK3 l.6 CDTi exoflex Tech Line. The only major problem was a catastrophic failure of the DPF which was replaced under warranty on my 2nd MK2 car (it was early days with the DPF and I, like most other drivers coming up against the DPF for the first time, unaware of the driving practices required with this gizmo.) My wife loves these vehicles - I cannot blame her. They have proven to be strong, robust, economical and a delight to drive. I have given up on taking these so-called expert reviews on the car scene into my consideration when choosing a car. It seems to me that the owners of cars like the Zafira, love them! That is why there are thousands of them on the road. No end of cynical comment from professional reviewers is going to change that fact! Talking about reviewers', this guy needs to smarten up! He looks like he's just returned from chopping down trees in Oregon - not contracted to give an expert opinion on a well-thought out car. How many stars should I give him? One or Two out of five maybe?
