This happened to me in highway 75 in Cincinnati Ohio just last week!!!! The entitled ass behind me, instead of passing me on the left lane just sat on my ass for the longest. When all of a sudden a pile of aluminum rods appeared in front of me. I quickly got on the left lane and because moron was on my bumper he/she did not react fast enough, some of those bars went right through the radiator. I literally left him/her smoking on the side of the road.

And by the looks of it this white car has tailgate once before and got brake checked.

I had that happen with a person and a deer. Person was following too close at night. Suddenly there was a large dead deer in the road. I went around it and the perso behind me went over it.

When going home after work a car would tailgate so close I could only see part of the windshield and roof. One very hot summer day I recalled seeing a dead bloated groundhog on the way into work. I manuvered my vehicle to allow the bloated animal to pass underneath and very close to my left wheel. The tailgater with a narrower wheel base centered on me an clobbered the extreamly bloated animal.
Boom, guts everywhere. I was never tailgated by that person again.

Had this happen with a cop, he was tailgating and there was debris in the road. I swearved to avoid it instant lights, he ran right into it, lights went off and a trail of sparks in my rear view pulled off the road.

I had a 1985 Toyota Landcruiser back in the days.
While I was on the highway a car was tailgating me.
Suddenly it appeared something on the road, but my Toyota had enough ground-clearance to drive over it.
The car that was tailgating me did not have the same ground-clearance and hit it hard.

Public service announcement- never follow anyone with a ladder or surfboard. Also self pickups with people moving. I fell back away from moving folks. A couple minutes later lane was obstructed by metal debris and SIL had had ladder through her passenger side window (thankfully she had no passenger) better to take longer to arrive.
