$395 for 15 minutes???? I thought you said there'd be no trauma!

I just finished a Red Cross first aid and cpr class and was taught to do 30 compressions then two rescue breaths then repeat until medics show up. Many have told me to skip the rescue breaths and just to compressions. Who is right?

This is awesome, we have an AED right outside out living room door in the our garage. This would be great to have next to it!

The price is a big disadvantage...
If they‘d make a recharge-cartridge for 100$ it‘d probably really start to be around on a lot of places.
400$ for two years shelflife or 15 minutes is quite something...

I could also really think of using this in places like chemical labs where people can get exposed to nasty stuff, so you can put oxygen on them after you decontaminated them.

Would 6 liters of oxygen burn nasal hairs and or dry mucus membrane?

Unfortunately my wife is on O2 after an extended sickness. On the plus side, I always have O2 sat meters and spare tanks in my truck that can supply 15LPM if necessary, and I can recharge them at home ;)
Her last ride to the ER took 11LPM to get her O2 sat up to 92%.

I asked a paramedic in line at grocery store if a prescription is still needed for oxygen tanks(he never mentioned this product) he said no anyone can get from suppliers, was he messing with me? I want as a prepper and for all the reasons Skinny mentioned. (Also, we dont need prescription for welding gases either? Do they have oxygen? 😁)

Cool product but a little too pricey for single use and to have to replace every two years. I think I'd rather purchase a cylinder and regulator that I could refill and only have to worry about every 5-10 years depending on the stamp. Plus if you use it your local ems agency may allow you to come by and refill it if they have that capability

$400 is absolutely nothing. But the shelf life and environmental stability need some work. I agree with others that perhaps a "recharge kit" would help offset the short lifespan.

You can buy canisters of oxygen at academy... In the sports section

Would using the oxygen from my oxygen/acetylene torch work?

Using a simple face mask you can't get FiO2 99%. Considering that it produces 6l/min the FiO2 would be about 40%.

I like the concept but that's a pretty narrow operating range of temperature.

Looks like a good unit, but that operating temperature is not for Texas. Maybe if it had a storage bag that would mitigate heat? It was 115F in my truck yesterday.

This would be great on those days in the hay field.

Looks like a good improvement over the EMOX O2 system. What's the temperature of the O2 at the cannula? I had the EMOX give someone burns once because they added to much water to the mix.
