Metro Detroit weather: Warmer week with spring showers ahead

It will be a cool start around Metro Detroit with Monday morning temperatures in the upper 20s to near 30 degrees and wind chills in the low to mid 20s. Layer up today because you’ll be able to shed a layer later today with a little bit of warming coming our way. The skies cleared out nicely yesterday after the Sunday morning snow, but more clouds have been moving in overnight leaving our skies mostly cloudy as you head out and about but the skies are dry other than isolated icy spots on some bridges, overpasses, and ramps so be on the lookout. There is a little wintry mix on radar early this morning through Central Michigan moving north and east. Other than that, I think we’re in for a pretty nice Monday which is exactly what we deserve.
