How to Create a Hyperlapse with the Neo

In this video I'm showing you how you can use an old school technique to create hyper lapse videos with the Dji Neo. This does require quite calm days and a bit of patience but if you're up for a challenge it's well worth a shot. Enjoy!

I love my Neo, I took it to Calgary and tossed it up and played with some of the quickshots and was absolutely amazed at how good it did in a pretty good wind too and the footage, unlike the drone in the wind, was not tilted at all. Awesome little drone, It was number 5 for me but already bought number 6 since this purchase :)

I struggled to find the cruise control, but with some research I managed to find it for the fn button. Thanks for the tip

Dude, that tip about renaming the files has blown my mind. I often make multicam clips with the Neo, Osmo Action 5 and Mini 4 Pro and the filenames are always so long it's impossible to see where you are unless you write them down on a piece of paper. Now I just rename them. I've been using Macs for years and never knew that was a thing. Thanks again

You and the DJI Neo did a great job creating a cool hyperlapse! It seems like that little budget drone can do just about anything if you have enough patience and creativity.

Funny enough, I was thinking about doing a similar thing with my DJI Mini 4K just yesterday. I was flying really slowly to capture a cinematic shot of a road along the ocean, and I thought, “If I just speed up the video later, it could look like a hyperlapse.

Brilliant!! I used my Neo to to a timelapse of incoming tide 2 evenings ago, after my Mini4 pro sd card failed. I have the images but wasn't sure how to produce the timelapse. Now I know. Thank you so much. Will try another with more thought as per your video.
