I have loved this song and never knew the name of it. I noticed the Scottish tartan and bagpipes behind you. Nice setup. My fiance was Scottish, same tartan; he died after surgery, before our wedding. I legally took his last name in honor of our wedding date. Never take a moment for granted, with those you Love. I would love to hear an album with cello, playing with your guitar. Steven, my fiance, would have loved your music as well. Blessings.

My son just told me the name of his favorite Stephen Wake piece and it was this one. Wonderul! I'm almost done learning Wild Mountain Tyme and the intro of Loch Ness. Such great guitar music. I'm having such a good time with this new frontier in guitar discipline. My right hand has been asleep until this music came into my life. Thank you Stephen, .

Bro, your a nasty player. Hands down, one of the most wickedly skilled guitarists I have come across. Much love from the American Northwoods

This transport me to Ireland. Just so smoothly played, and a great melody line.

Expression doesn't always have to come out as words to describe a story, this is a perfect example.

one of my favorite tunes by Stephen Wake. Absolutely gorgeous. I am a jazz buff and when it comes to guitar players I listen to guys like John Scofield, Jim Hall or among younger ones, Rosenwinkel, Kreisberg, Lage Lund, etc. Yet Celtic/Irish music is so emotional and beautiful one has to pay attention. In this regard, on a guitar, Wake to me is among the best. I can listen to his music for ever. Just wish this stuff could be played on normal tuning. Alas :-(

You are amazing to share your work for free! Fantastic playing and a joy to find for a recent DADGAD convert like myself who has been looking for new things to learn in the tuning. Thank you so much!
