Donald Trump's appearance with Taylor Lewan and Will Compton on "Bussin' With The Boys" got the attention of the mainstream media, and of course they wanted to turn Trump's comment racist. When the Washington Post asked Compton for comment on the situation, the former NFL linebacker unleashed the perfect response.

Trump has for years always said he was a baseball and golf guy but loved football but wasn't built for it

Why is this a bad thing?
He was being honest that he was not in the same shape as the opponent and that puts you in a terrible position when playing football.
The W Post is a disgrace!

Anybody who grew up in the hood know that we wear that we came from and survived atough/bad neighborhoods as a BADGE OF HONOR. Especially in sports like football; if you lost to the team with the rich kids it was embarrassing because you categorized those teams as being soft . Trump didnt say anything wrong

I prefer that he admits he wasn't built for it, then people who are currently claiming to be gun owners, but look like an idiot trying to load a gun to hunt, or won't even say what type of a Glock she owns

If i was them i say “how does a kid comming from a bad neighborhood equate to racism? Are you assuming minorities are poor? Is that how you view them ? “

Mr Jason Whitlock, tackle the story of the male volleyball player from San Jose State playing against women in college.

Didn’t Deion make a comment similar to that? Something about how he wanted his QB to be a kid from a two parent home, but he wanted his d-line to be raised by a single mother or something like that?

When Trump was playing youth and school football the men who came from bad neighborhoods, or from the other side of the tracks, also included names like Butkus, Nitschke, Bendarik, Huff. Trump was making fun of himself as a son of privilege playing a sport against guys with everything to prove by hitting him.

You are wrong. My Dad undersized outside linebacker at Texas A& I in its glory days. Invite to Baltimore Colts. He loved to hit. Became an Army officer in Special Forces. Also smart. Though born in a tarpaper shack in Depression, skipped grade, graduated with electrical engineering degree. Unbelievably tough. There is a joy of the hit. Greatest high in the world. In HS, I played linebacker and guard and special teams and played rugby too. Never left field. 😅Incredible high for a shy valedictorian. Broke 3 helmets tackling opponents. You don't have to be from the hood. I helped those guys with homework so they could go to college.

I’m a white guy from integrated area and I was outstanding at basketball. It’s true, not racist, I had to play white guys and suburban black guys different from black guys from the hood. When I played the suburban guys, they move the ball constantly passing so I had to play the lanes and cut thru picks to get open and score. The guys from the hood were more one on one, dribbling a lot and concentrating on their moves so I had to be alert to that on defense . On offense, I could keep the ball longer and had to fake more as they wanted to block my shot more than defend me strategically. So I had to move fast, fake a lot, and quick release or stop mid traction and pull up for jumper with quick release. Not racist but the culture of the area and custom.

"poor kids are just as smart as white kids" Brandon. Meanwhile, his hospice nurse/wife called me a "breakfast burrito". But all that is celebrated by fake news.
