Pretending to fight racism with racism is an Ouroboros

The progression:

"There is no DEI. -> There was always DEI. -> DEI is always good. -> You are bad for not supporting DEI. -> We are officially ending DEI (which we initially denied implementing). -> Why are we not trusted anymore?"

I saw some discussion of someone saying to "name one game that failed because of wokeness/DEI". People listed some of the stinkers from the last couple of years, however the responses were typically "That game didn't fail because of DEI, it was because the writing/gameplay was bad". What goes over their heads is that the writing/gameplay was bad because they were hiring people based on identity instead of skill, like how Veilguard hired a trans games journalist (known for calling persona 5 and smash bros ablest because they misread a lyric) to be part of the writing process.

For me looking at it, it’s a grift and it always was. Look at all these companies cutting or laying off their DEI departments. Normies now are starting to finally catch on.

I'm no political focus guy but, confederate states is one of the things we can compare to DEI's. Both of them are literally the same still carrying racism and they're no better than each other. Except Confederate states was more of a segregation and slavery history, still alive nowadays with history and civil war history, ETC. On the other hand DEI is similar to Confederate, However the only thing is segregating white people for multi-race and gender recognization, fat acceptance and anti-racism. It's very ironic which some DEI has white people and they're calling non-DEI people white. Self-hatred is so crazy

Mr. July, you are so good at explaining things. I love the way you think. Great Thomas Sowell quote, the same principle is true of emotional responses, not only governed by the level of maturity in the individual reacting, but the exact same stimuli will elicit different responses in the same person on different days. So how anyone could ever think we should make law based on people's emotional reactions is beyond insane. Leaving us literally making laws based on how insane people react to sane people.

The civil rights movement was about human rights, which includes natural rights to life, land, resources and all the benefits inherent in nature that were legally blocked for African Americans by the government itself. That is not simply about "representation". And "representation" does not mean corporations randomly inserting characters of certain skin colors and other characteristics into IPs based on corporate mandates, it is about actually being accurate and faithful to the history and culture of different people in the world. And ultimately "representation" comes from those groups producing their own cultural artifacts and stories and ideas not simply being cut and pasted randomly into someone else's culture and history. And in America, historically this has been about denying and ignoring the fact that African Americans invented much of American pop music culture and degrading them with stereotypes even while celebrating that pop culture. Which also ties into employment rights which only exist because it was the law to discriminate against African Americans in all aspects of employment and economic opportunities. There is no way to claim these companies who promote DEI are actually discriminating against themselves because they aren't being blocked from anything by any other group of people.

Shills will say this is a “boy who cried wolf” except it’s like “this town used to be overrun by wolves, so we got rid of them so now anytime there’s a wolf we react like there’s a pack of them because wolves are usually in packs.”

Did you notice at the start of the video in BW that the black people wore suits and ties and looked competent and respectful. Fast forward to DEI and black people and minorities are wearing gangsta clothes and are incoherent and incompetent. Something changed. Expectations.

Good thing I helped promote obscure media from the early 2000s and before as a distraction.
