Store in my city has it at $79.98 but a nearby store in a different city (Brockton, MA) is $54.95. Check different stores nearby. Great deal!

The regular chrome ones (#1049233) are priced at $119 at the local Lowe's, whereas the gun metal set you mentioned (#2523447) is regularly priced at $79.98, and on sale for $54.98. Although 30% off is nice, I'm not sure that's run-out-and-buy type savings and doesn't seem like a pricing error. If it were $119 marked down to $54, then I'd jump in my truck! Thanks for the tip. I got it yesterday at Lowes the Craftsman 105 pcs Gunmetal Chrome Mechanics Tool Set for only $47.98 on Clearance. I got also a Clearance on a Craftsman 22" Hedge Trimmer V20 System for only $27.58 only.

Lowe's app said my Littleton, CO store only had one 105-piece gunmetal set left. I rushed over there and scored one for $54.98 and they still had two more left after I bought one.

They sell those two ratchets separately for $25 & $30 so, buy two ratchets and get the rest for free.

Got it for $47.98 today at a different store. Found it just laying on the floor. Scanned it, showed 79.95, took it to the register and showed 47.98. Win!

I filed a little plastic off tabs of the m12 3.0AH on the battery itself as it was the only battery sticking. It comes out way easier. Just go a little at a time until it’s fine tuned to your liking. It’s a frustrating 15 minutes, but it will save time if you’re on a job.

So I hit my Lowe's in long island NY to scout out the gunmetal set. The shelf tag was the regular price $119.00 but it did ring up at $79.98 still a deal but not a Good deal. Same price online.. I was looking at it for a travel set for our camper. But honestly have a older small set that has worked just fine.. I was worth a shot.

The Lowe’s up here in the northeast website shows gun metal new lower price from 79.98 down to 54.98 presently. It’s the same item and model. It is still a decent deal.

Jeff, I had to get off work early today and found he Craftman 105 at my Lowes they had it showing for 79 but when u scanned it 54.95 and I was out the door good deal and I SMASHED the like button!

Hey @Jeffostroff Thanks for the content.

If you take a bit of 150 grit sand paper to those M12 tools (works on battery side too but tool is better) and lightly touch the hold backs, it should help with that sticking. My rotary tool and FUEL multi-tool were a pain too regardless of which battery i used.
