Kasparov is a Russian, and the bot-posters can't take that away from him no matter how many times they scream "jew".

GDP is a less useful tool for analysing the effect of politics on the people (the basis of democracy is meant to be the people rather than the aristocracy, right?) than average lifespan, which receded in Russia by about 8 years since the collapse of Communism.

@LazarusCato Agreed.

People should have to past a mental exam, and a political[or history] class to vote.

All good, but his party advocates the first past the post system which doesn't strike me as very democratic.

Democracy on a national level is overrated IMO, it just descends in2 farce - tho there shud b sum way of the populous removing bad leaders. Democracy on a local level is much more important - the issues dealt with on a federal level shud be approached thru sumting mor akin 2 the scientific method - 2 vote on a national level, it is my opinion that one shud have 2 pass a test showing a min. level of understanding of relevant issues. That brings with it problems, but it wud clean things up some.

Most nations are oligarchies - some more overt than others is all.

Everyones thinking short-term profits and positioning themselves for the next election.

@supertroll653 No, I most certainly mean FOX. They are as "fair and balanced" as a fat man alone on a teeter totter.
