I like the explanation, but saying your decimal number as twenty-three point one is not correct. If you are teaching students to work with decimals, please use the correct math term for the decimal point which would be and. Your example should be said twenty-three and one tenth.

You put the wrong answer in the last question. The answer is 0.02421 and not 0.2421.
