Dropping Roses (also mentioned as DPR) is a Greek alternative rock band, formed in East Thessaloniki. The band currently consists of vocalist Vera Papathanasiou, lead guitarist Nick Kamposis, guitarist Kosmas Vezyris, drummer George (Winie) Fourkas and bassist Alex K. (Giop) Giopanos. Founded by Kamposis, Kotsakiahidis, Fourkas and Giopanos in early 2016, started as a cover band. Later that year Kotsakiahidis left the band and Papathanasiou and Vezyris joined. The band gained notoriety for their high-energy live shows and are planing on releasing an alboun during the next year.
