I was under the impression that snow was a common event in Colorado and that people would have enough sense to make sure that everything that they need to do is done before a well forecasted blizzard strikes? There is a reason cars are stuck there and 4X4 trucks drove home through the snow.

I saw this all day. They have been telling everyone to expect this all week. CDOT and State Patrol said stay home!!! Can't plow the roads when the idiots get stuck in your way. This has nothing to do with just Texans and Californian's. There were PLENTY of Colorado plates on the stuck vehicles out there. I have plowed snow for 22 winters. Nobody listens to the warnings. Another thing... give the plows room to do what they are out there for. People get mad when the roads are crap and people get mad when you slow them down as you plow the road for them. Can't have it both ways people.
