Sanger Institute - 25 Genomes for 25 Years Introduction

To celebrate its 25th Anniversary the Wellcome Sanger Institute decided to celebrate by giving a gift to the research community: 25 reference genomes of species from the UK that do not have a reference genome. By reading their DNA and uncovering their genes the Institute hopes to help ecologists and genetic researchers in their work to understand and protect these species.
