Good cow dogs coming. Those people wanting you to chop everything need to realize that your area is not a farming area because of the good moisture and green grass. NO sense plowing that good grass up. Here in the Colo river basin the pioneers dammed up the small streams to get the water out on the land. The only way to get a crop. North of us in the great basin pivots are used to pump water out of the ground and from reservoirs coming off the mts. On the Ariz strip water is caught and funneled into a tank from the rain and into a pipe line to water cattle. So there in Gods country where the grass grows by itself year round it would not be cost effective to plow up the grass but to buy hay and mix with grain from a green tractor pulling a yellow mixer.
