The Jets signing a future Hall-of-Famer to an elite roster and getting him to sign a sweetheart deal only for him to get injured on the 4th play of the season is the most Jets thing that could have possibly happened.

Peyton asking who the Jets backup was had me laughing so hard and hearing Eli laugh as well made is that much better.

As a Bills fan, I was so hyped for this game. My heart goes out to all of Jets Nation and to the organization. Elite D, high-octane offense, HOF QB. This is not how it was supposed to play out. Hoping he fully recovers and steps foot on the field again....albeit in about two years' time.🙏

This is LITERALLY like that Family Guy bit making fun of the Mets.

"It's Opening Day! Here's the first pitch... And the season's over!"

Just brutal man. Absolutely catastrophic. The biggest story from the off season, a new chapter for Rodgers career, a reinvigorated Jets team with fans and analysts talking about winning super bowls, and it ends 4 plays into the first game of the season. Months and months of build up and anticipation and planning for 4 plays. Heart breaking for everyone involved.

You can tell Peyton’s genuinely in his feelings by how extra country he sounded 😅
0:03 “He’s dao … *HE’S DaOuWn!* “ 🤣

Peyton with the 80s Quarterbacks roast!😂😂

Richard Todd is a former quarterback for the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints from 1976 to 1986.

Ken O'Brien is a former quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles. One of the six quarterbacks in the famed quarterback class of 1983

There reactions are so pure and unfiltered. Its genuine shock and they instantly feel for Rodgers, just a bad luck situation.

As a 9ers fan, hurt QB’s are nothing to joke about.
Hope he makes it back on the field soon as possible.

As a 42 year old about 5 months into my recovery from an Achilles tear, my heart goes out to Rodgers. Hate to see him go out like that. But that’s unfortunately probably curtains on a 39-year-old.

I appreciate their genuine concern but the backup qb convo still made this lowkey hilarious! 😆

Speedy recovery A-Rod.
