DD15 Needle Return Pressure Control Valve

I am a mechanic from uganda but i work on a lorry with the same filter model and pump but these lorry had failed to satrt so i put for it a hand pump by the tank to flow to the filters then nosals but these failed but then realised there was a lot of fuel lost by the release and so decided to block the return pipe fuel moved up to the nosals and started but due to high pressure return blowed some pipes for emergency return checked it's pressure valve in good condition

Anybody knows what's the purpose of that valve? My truck loose prime when is sitting shut down I have to prime it in order to start it. Thank you

My truck lose prime and when I refill my fuel bowl with diesel to prime it I see bubbles

What year model is your truck? Because I have a 2014 freightliner cascadia DD15 and mine looks different from that one, so I don't know what line to take off!

This is the problem when your dd15 or 13 is surging on a idle. Rough idle.
