Farm to Fork Picnic: The Cause

North Carolina has lost more than 40,000 farms since 1974, and ranks second in the nation in potential agricultural land lost by the year 2040. With the average age of farmers now 58, it is critical that we support the training and development of new farmers, as well as engage and inspire youth to develop and support the next generation of food system leadership.
