The lids are usually hollow on these. I fill mine with expanding foam. Not only dose it help a bit with keeping stuff cool but it also adds more support for the "seat".

It may last 6 days if you fill it with huge ice blocks and never open it. They don't tell you how they got to 6 days.. Hell they could have tested this in Winter in the snow haha

The igloo cube is what I have and it works great! At 3 or 4 days outside in a hot car during summer in Arkansas it still had ice.

We had a similar sized one by Coleman here in Germany for camping and festivals in summer. We filled about half of the space with frozen water bottles and the rest with beer and BBQ meat. Lasted easily for about 5 days. After waking up we nicely tugged our sleeping bags over it. Worked perfectly.

We had one of these in Antarctica. It kept the ice frozen for 6 years, so yea, they were being honest with you! On average. Did you give them the sixty bucks? Yup. Then the warranty worked just fine!

I recently bought they Coleman Marine 6 day cooler. Which I like and it does keep things pretty cold and the ice does not melt as fast but I keep it in the house where it's cooler temperatures. I bought this for when the power may go out in the winter for more than I would like.I have a cooler to put my perishables in. For the money it's an okay cooler. Great video as always thank you.

Yeti, Orion, Pelican, RTIC... If you use a cooler in truck bed, camp often, deer camp etc.... Well worth price. The cheap ones are good for wanna bees... Compare to egg cartons for durability

The Yeti is $300?! Well dang, may as well just get a mini fridge and a little generator.

Why spend so much money on an expensive cooler when you can just buy 2 cheaper coolers and put one inside the other? :P

hay Jack i bought two Coleman Extremes (not sure about the 6) about 10 to 12 years ago. They work great for me, never really tested it for 6 days. But just two weekends ago my kids used one on Saturday night with one bag of ice and a bunch of drinks (cans and bottles). I left it there till Thursday(5 days)on the back deck. I went to put it away and low and behold there was still ice and drinks in it!! Thanks for the free cold drinks kids. lol

The styrofoam cooler that my frozen food gets shipped in from Nutrisystem will keep ice frozen for 4 days. I know you can’t buy these coolers but I was majorly impressed. On and it was 110 during the day and in the 90.’s at night.

My dad drove a truck for Anheuser-Busch before it got sold to some European company. I digress, he & his distribution center employees got these aluminum on outside with the eagle on top. He gave it to me & bought another. I had it on my back porch up against the house to shield it away from the sun as much as possible. We had a couple of bags of ice in it and a 15lb fresh ham. Everyday we checked it still ice and ham was still very cold. by Sunday morning when it was taken out to be cooked it remained cold. We did add 1 bag of ice just in case on day 4 or 5 just in case but it would have stayed. Oh it took place in NC in mid May at least 80 everyday.

Most newer "coolers" have poor insulation. I Have a few Coleman coolers that claimed to last 3-5 days of ice that i modified myself. i drilled a few small 1/4" holes and filled the hollow cavity with insulating expanding spray foam like you buy at home depot in a can. If you own a "hollow" cooler i would recommend doing this as it added a few days of cooling .

Probably will last 6 days if you pack it full of ice and never open it, which doesn't reflect reality

Had you thought about putting the "sacrificial" ice in, so to speak? IE, letting some start to melt, to get the inside cold, and then putting in more ice and testing how long that took to get cold? Like the difference between putting room temperature in a Yeti mug with ice cubs or putting cold water in with ice cubes.

I have a Makers Mark cup, theyre the Sams Club version of Yeti, and it keeps ice pretty cold and my family loves the Ozark Coolers too. Cheaper than Yeti and keeps it colder, if not colder
Also, while on the subject of Sams Club I thought of something that maybe you could test/try out while at Sams Club is the Presto 6-qt. Nomad Traveling Slow Cooker. Football and Crock Pot season is here

Another great review! Hope you’re doing well! Lots of love, Jack.

The best insulation is simply a vacuum wall, I would hope that's what more expensive coolers use.

Dude if it last for even 4 days I'll still get it for $50!!!
