I had an HP Pavilion g6 too. Used it for 10 years. It started to get hot to the point it shut down everytime it is overheated. Now a bit of the plastic of the cooling vent is melted too.

Wholesome! My father didn't want me to buy a desktop he thought it was too cumbersome to carry around on LAN parties and such. Still had monitor and keyboard just put the laptop on the floor half open on it's side with the fan up.... should have bought a desktop tho and saved some money or gained some performance.
