(DEMO) 'One-Winged Champion' - A Mashup by Moosey

Massive thank you to ViViVooVoo on Twitter for not only inspiring the idea with their incredible fusion artwork of Cynthia and Sephiroth, but also for allowing me to use said artwork in this video!

Here's a short little test I made for what a mashup of One-Winged Angel (the theme of Sephiroth from FF7) and Cynthia's Battle Theme (from Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum) would sound like!

If enough people want to see it, I'll consider making this into a full thing and upload it to my main channel. But I thought I'd share it here to gauge whether or not people would like to see it! :)

Short answer: (Hopefully) Yes, eventually!

Long answer: I 100% want to return to this and fully realise the idea. However, because I really want to do it justice, I don't just want to force myself to complete it for those people that have been waiting for it. I want it to be good, and to be something I am creatively satisfied with, rather than something I rush out without proper motivation and ultimately find some level of dissatisfaction in.

At the moment, I'm currently focused on my studies at University- through this, I'm hoping to make greater strides with my own compositional ability and reach a point where I feel like I can do something really cool with this that I can be happy with. It's likely that I'll tinker with this in the background every now and then and hopefully reach a point where I go "yeah, this works" and the full thing comes together.

As of writing this, the video's sat at 415 THOUSAND VIEWS, which is just an insane number to me. I would never have imagined so many people seeing or hearing my work, I can barely comprehend it now.

I really appreciate all of you and I'm so glad to have made something cool that resonated with a lot of people. I hope some of you will stick around for the full thing when it's ready, as well as whatever else I have in store down the line. 💜💜💜

Entering that house in Undella Town and seeing Cynthia walk towards me is actually one of the scariest moments I've ever had in a video game. Horror games have nothing on Cynthia.
