We found some morels in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania! So we brought some dried morels and had a cookout on a stump. Very cool stuff!

G. gigas is a European mushroom. If you're in Pennsylvania or West Virginia, that's most likely g. korfii, which is just as edible as a morel. This is still a good lesson, though! If you can't 100% identify it, don't eat it!
