Honestly, I love the purple of this and see myself playing in this apartment in future. I will say, with you struggling for the "office for writing" art/window plans. A corkboard or messy post-it notes etc would literally be perfect on a writer's wall. Sometimes the plot-planning spans beyond the notebook/document. I know you can never get exact on the sims but could be a fun idea

For the "basket of cozies" blanket basket thing by the piano, I wonder if you could use the new throw pillow in purple to add some coordinating color to it?!
I personally love the purple throughout the place, I have fun trying to stick to a color theme in a build!

Whenever I decide I'm starting a new gen of my legacy challenge, I choose a new world, lot, and building style for the heir. So, my other sims can stay in the previous house. I love doing it this way because I force myself to do something out of my comfort zone, and I struggle for money every single time. I know it doesn't go with like the official rules of a legacy challenge, but I have a lot of fun playing the sims this way. Plus, I can replace some of those haunting EA builds in my save. Fully recommended.

the living room looks sooo cozy! replace the fireplace with dvd/game storage (which you obviously don't need in The Sims) and i could totally see myself living there!
edit: the color scheme in the bathroom is also really pretty!

This apartment is beautiful! When you said, " You're probably mad at me, " I was talking out loud to the computer saying, "Kayla! It's YOUR build for YOUR Sim! It doesn't really matter what everyone else thinks!" Also, it's so fun to see Snap doing to you what my cats do to me! Once when Snap was meowing in the background I was trying to figure out what MY cats were doing until you mentioned it was Snap. 🤣

I'm unhealthily attached to all my sims so yes I build/edit customized homes for my main family and their extended families. Sometimes if I have time, I do the same for my sims' friends (especially if it's a bigger family with little to no accommodation).

Fantastic build as always! The creativity with the layout always amazes me.

The fish welcome mat would’ve been perfect tho. They like fishing!

Also I started using more tall wardrobe like things in hallways, feels more realistic for hallways than using so many bookcases.

But your choices for this build were so fun & fitting!
