As a candle maker, I just wanted to give you some advice when creating candles. The distributors will always suggest a starting point for your wick but it's never absolute. The best thing is to still test different types and sizes to make sure you got the right one. CDN wicks burn cool so they're ideal for coconut soy or coconut apricot wax. Soy wax needs a hotter burning wick like ECO wicks. Also it's normal for Soy candles to not have smooth tops. You can smooth them with a heat gun but once it burns, at cooldown it will roughen up again. Lastly, please allow 2 weeks cure time before testing or selling to make sure they function properly.
