I was able to get my little brother away from his lady long enough to catch some big brown and cutthroat trout on the fly! We caught all of our fish european nymphing! it was a dang good day!

Good stuff. Your videos just keep getting better. Looks like easy access water. Non euro people might not know that these flies are weighted nymphs. They are weighted with the tungsten beads on the fly, or wrapped with lead wire when they are tied. These flies get down fast and stay near the bottom. Don’t attached split shot in front of the flies and expect the same results.

Good fishing! I'm kind of a Euro Nymphing junkie these days (have a lot on my channel). What net was that you're using? I use a measurenet but they catch a little too much water when you're trying to net by yourself in faster water. Toying with the bigger loop style net like yours... you like it?

I recently got into euro fishing. I've only tried one time, but I have one question. How are you guys getting to the bottom in that fast moving water? I hit some stuff similar to that spillway and I was really struggling to get to the bottom of the water column with those little flies. I think I was using a size 14 tungsten dropper and a size 18 Midge above that. I know how to tuck cast and I use the Rio Euro leader and I still can't get down.
