I've just spent $70 for the ND I Need a Nude palette, but I'm loving this Patrick Ta palette. The fact it's all mattes and has 2 creams would be a great addition to the ND palette. I love the creams for eyeliners.

A friend gave me her Kylie matte
shadow palette. I wouldn’t have purchased it on my own most likely. That being said, I am shocked at how much I enjoy the formula. The powders have silica in them, which I very much enjoy on my extra oily eyelids. I find that they have more smoothness and oil absorbing staying power.

As I age close to 80 I have changed over to the Revlon cream pot eyeshadows with their beautiful glowing soft colours. Creams do not flake and look better on older eyelids and are easier to apply. Interestingly blues seem to be out of favour in all brands. Why?

Excellent informative video. I am 76 and even though I generally use two neutral colors on my eyes on a daily basis, I always enjoy your videos. I wear shades of brown but only the cool tones.

Thank you for doing a tutorial. I have hooded eyes and get frustrated trying to do my eyes. Watching someone with hooded eyes do their makeup is very helpful.

I wouldn't buy any of them. If you have Colourpop's Gone Matte, there is no need for any of those, AND they're way too expensive. Milani's Ungilded Mattes are another option for warmer matte shadows.

I agree on warm tones being more neutral. I really like this palette and was able to mix the neutral and cool tones easily. The creams make great liners as well.

Definitely putting that on the Sephora VIB sale list… My mom is a huge brown and neutral fanatic for eyeshadow and she never uses any shimmer‘s because she said it makes her eyes look crease like lol so I’m definitely going to grab her the Patrick Ta for Christmas. Lisa, I think you forget there are some Latinas out here that appreciate the Ivory for our under brow color. We can't use "white" on our medium brown skin. 😉

I love all of your videos and seeing the high-end stuff. Unfortunately, my budget doesn't allow for much on the high-end side. Most nudes and browns frustrate me. I find they all look warm, and I definitely like the cooler tones on me. I have a hard time telling the difference in the pans. Maybe you could do a video on which eyeshadow palettes and which bronzers are warm and which are cool. And how do you tell a difference...just a thought.

Risa, thank you for this video! I have several high end eyeshadow palettes but I rarely use them. I normally just put bronzer in my crease.
