Tig Welding 6g Pipe Test part 2

This is part 2 of a series on tips for passing a 6 inch 6g tig pipe welding test.
Every drove for 16 hours...couldnt sleep, took a 6g tig welding test after being awake for 30 hours?

I was Close, As we didnt Know what to expect, , So the 24 Hrs I was Up, Made My Hand, ???? Maybe Tired, I had a 5/32 Tungston, So It Got hot FAST!  And had 2 Coolers Hooked Up!, But Once the Root was Done, I Changed Torches(He Gave us Permission!) And Well Got er Done, , I Asked to see the Cut thru, and the xray, and the Bend Test!!, Well in Ct. Anyways, But there was Much Work Back Then!!!, , DO NOT COME TO CT!, , no industry!, , And Ived Owed the Co for 38 Years Oct. and the Co, is 109 Years Old!!, , Great Vids!, , , Thank you, Jack

I have never heard of any rule in the code on how many stops you can have. Bottom line is that It all depends on who is administering the test. Some testers impose their own preferences and you have to live with it.

I know this comment was made 3 weeks ago, but since nobody has answered I will: I am currently working in a machine shop as a welder and training under an instructor who was a welder for more than 20 years. You will rarely need more than basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. You will need to be able to convert fraction-decimal and vice versa. You will need to be able to use a measuring tape, steel rule, and combination square. There is no algebra. Hope this helps.
