1:54 That happens in both Mutant Mayhem and the new Tales of the TMNT series as well. Batman gets name-dropped, like, a dozen times between the movie and the series, Raph is a Drake fan, April name-drops Megamind and Despicable Me, Donnie recognizes drawings from Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia, Ice T gets quoted, Splinter gets called Ratatouille, both Godzilla and Avengers get referenced, Donnie has a personal logo based off the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure logo and learns how to drive via Forza Horizon, stuff like that.

I actually do recommend both the 2003 series (the closest we'll get to an adaptation of the original comics outside of the first movie) and Mutant Mayhem. Both are genuinely good.

Tbh, it’s worth it and not worth it, all the errors occurring makes ya restart the whole level isn’t fun but it’s fun, kinda hard but the skins for the turtles, master piece

Got this game physically yesterday for xbox and honestly it's a pretty damn fun game. I paid 30$ at gamestop.. for the price it's worth it. Nothing major nor ground breaking but it's fun for a arcade style/Rougelite

I too am from the 1987 era and while I had my reservations about the film when I went to see it it ended up being a pretty enjoyable experience. I kind of just keep the two different films separate entirely as I feel that they are almost completely two different things. I didn’t really care for some of the story plot points, but I did actually enjoy watching this in theaters and then a second time in my home on streaming services that I have given you a bit of insight to my experience with the new movie/take on the turtles. I can definitively say I’m not really interested in playing the new game. It looks kind of entertaining and actually has some great lessons and Has some great social interactions with kids. I’m just not sure that this is some thing I’m going to pay money to play or spend time to beat. I do appreciate you showing me some of the gameplay and core mechanics of the game and I always enjoy your content.

The design of the characters is so cringe and stupid looking

One of the original creators sold his share as he could not handle the workload. The other guy sold the TMNT to Nickelodeon for billions 20 years later. He is sorry now.

Had the deluxe physical edition pre-ordered for Switch before I owned a PS5. I was born in 1983, so TMNT was huge in my life growing and I was really looking forward to this game. Between the long load times, the slow pacing, and the sluggish controls, it took me forever just to get to the main game because I kept turning it off during the “tutorial” portion. TMNT may have peaked with Shredder’s Revenge, the games after that haven’t been nearly as good.

Remember playing Turtles in Time and Tournament Fighters for the SNES while obsessing over the cartoon which was at the time in its 9 or 10th season and I was like 10 in 1994😂😂

so far outright games have done a decent job with the nick license. Patrick Star and this game, while not perfect, do seem like fun.

I feel like if they are given a bit more time to hone their skills they will make some classics around the level of BFBB

the thing that annoys me the most is that, game developers are lazy nowadays, they develop a game and when they run out of budget, they just release it incompleted. So when we buy and play the game, we see so many issues with the game, and then they release a patch to fix the issues, but its too little too late. What if one day the server is no longer there and we re-install the game and it'll be the incompleted version on the game card. So frustrating
