I spent 25 years of my life locked up in shame and sin addicted to meth and utterly broken. I surrendered my will and life to Christ December 31st 2013 and he washed me clean I am not an addict in recovery I am a completely healed child of the king. Walking in Victory I was called to ministry in 2014 and have pastored a church for 9 years. Jesus doesn’t just saved he turns our lives around. He loved and loves me not inspire of who I am but because of who I am. I will be leading our church in this song sunday

Man… as someone who has struggled my entire life with a fear of failure or not being enough, these lyrics touched my soul so deeply. I’m about to turn 29 and it wasn’t until the last year and a half I finally started wrapping my mind around Jesus’ unconditional love for me. No matter how many times I mess up, he loves me and wants what is best for me. It’s a love like no other, that our human minds struggle to truly comprehend. Thank you Lord for sacrificing all of yourself and seeing the potential in all of us “average joes”!
