This is not a fix, it's merely a hard reset.... It's a software issue that Google needs to correct. Problem comes back after your "solution"

This isn't a fix. This phone locked up on me for 5 minutes while I was driving and using Google maps to navigate.

My phone does this since 30 hours with a black screen. Nothing works, but if i press the on/off Button i get the vibration feedback. This was my first and last google phone.

This isn't a fix it's just a hard reset.

If this doesn't work, try going on display within settings and increasing touchscreen sensitivity. This seems to have helped me out. Credit: the droid guy

Mine is overly sensitive and I don’t even have to touch the screen and it’s doing whatever the F it wants lol.
