MERIDA eSILEX or eSCULTURA? e-road or e-gravel bike? | Which is best for you?
Показать описание
Trying to decide between an e-gravel bike like the MERIDA eSILEX or an e-road bike like the eSCULTURA? In this video, we cover the differences between the two so that you can choose which is better for you, explaining how the equipment differs for each bike and why, plus which kinds of riding conditions each excels in.
Both bikes use the innovative @MAHLEGroup Smartbike Systems X35 drive unit, which has a hub-mounted motor that gives 40 Nm of support but barely any additional drag above the assistance speed limit, making it ideally suited to sporty bikes such as these. The system also allows MERIDA engineers to tune the assistance response map to suit the application, with both the e-gravel and e-road setup having very different support feel that helps each excel in their environment.
