This is the third video in a series on setting up the new Azure Microsoft Azure Windows Virtual Desktop service (WVD). In this video, I do a step-by-step walkthrough of creating a Windows 10 1809 multi-user template image and using it for a WVD deployment. After that, I show how to manage the WVD environment by viewing session information and managing hosts.

hi Travis,
For 'CLASSIC WVD' can we use a new updated image(with applications and updates) to create more machines in a pre-deployed Host pool?
please let us more about it.

Hi Travis, thx for the amazing videos for WVD. Would be great if you make some videos about RemoteApp Groups in WVD, assign the users and access permissions and publish the Apps.

Hey Travis, Hope you are doing well. I need any suggestions from you to enable sso for Ubuntu machine with Azure AD. We have almost 100 ubuntu computers in onshore. But we are managing the user identities on Azure. Currently users are login their machines with local account. But we want to enable SSO for computer authentication. We don't want any third party tools to achieve this. Please suggest me if you have any idea about that. Thanks!!

Travis, thanks for the video. What is the process for updating applications/adding applications? Do you need to go back to the base image, update it, then re-deploy?

Why do you use the shutdown executable instead of the logoff exe? Wouldnt shutdown, SHUTDOWN the pc thus kicking off everyone on that shared windows virtual desktop?

Is there any way to convert on-premises Windows 10 Enterprise image into Windows 10 Enterprise *multi session* image?

Good walk through. We have individual user hostpool instead of the windows Multi-session. But good stuff

1) What to do if you have to update the OD and Application?
2) Did you install FSLogix or was it in the image?
3) If you have a LOB server, we have to install on the same subnet, yes?
4) How long was the first logon time for each user?
