How To Bypass the 'Please use EA App to continue' Message On Origin

You are having fun using Origin without getting the Migration Message. Suddenly, on June 19th, you crash into a new issue. This time, the entirety of Origin is locked down, showing a singular plain wall of text saying, "Please use EA App to continue". You panic, trying to find a solution to this fix on the Internet. You stumble upon this tutorial, which quickly teaches you how to bypass this message in just under 5 minutes.

Hey guys! Because Discord made links expire after quite some time, entering bit(dot)ly/OriginInstaller onto your browser will result in an error saying that the content is not available.

UPDATE: While this helped Origin look normal again instead of the blank white "Use EA app" screen, it cleared my Sims expansion packs from the launcher and I couldn't install them again. Removing the version made them reappear in my game's launcher (which still works from just clicking on the game on my desktop). Still, the first step is great for people who want to go back to Origin from the EA app.

Thank you so much! There were too many times I couldn't launch my purchased games because of the broken EA app. So glad we now have the option to use a much more reliable launcher (Origin).

So the EA app message is gone now, but I can only use origin in offline mode because it says there's a mandatory update that needs doing, but anytime there's an attempt to install that, I get the "Whoops - the installer encountered an error" message and I have no idea how to fix this. Any help?

On the first attempt it didn't worked and I gave up in frustration, but I tried it again at a later time and it worked! I honestly had no hope that it would work but it did! Thank you! :)
