I've been training my mixed breed since I was 10 (I'm now 13) and we went to our first NADAC trial in July. She was eliminated for leaving the ring, but I was proud of her. She and I are in a dog training club, and we competed at our local fair and she got third place in novice tunnelers!

Nice videos for those starting out! I remember teaching weaves over at the park by carrying my jump and equipment, fast forward 7 years later and I can’t believe it’s now my full time work and love every moment ❤️

For the weave poles, I used the plastic stakes used for signs or fences. For something to jump through, I would use a holahoop

My dog did Agility for the first time and I put it on You Tube. I knew he had potential because the first time he went to puppy play he was being chased by five puppies and he ran thru an agility tunnel and then came around and jumped over the tunnel.

My dog is 7 months old and he is a blue heeler/border collie cross. I have been training him for agility since I got him. He has a long ways to go but I think it will all be worth it

We took Pani to his first puppy play session and there was an agility tunnel. He was being chased by five puppies so he ran thru the tunnel and then jumped over middle of the tunnel with no coaching. All the puppiy parents went nuts.

I have a 7 year old Boxer X Blueheeler, and she’s very driven by food. I only have a couple of barbecue table benches and some random pole I use in between them. She did it without the lead for the first time today.

And I have a 15 year old border collie X, who would love to do it but unfortunately can’t even walk up stairs.

I use the method you use for training my dog with treats. but now he won't do anything unless he sees that I have a treat in my hand
