The Science of Soil: Why Study Soil?

Показать описание
Soil is key to many environmental issues, and is a critical zone where a lot of the sciences come together. Studying soil science and understanding the processes that occur within and around soils gives you the tools to address many of the issues facing humanity, from climate change to public health, and to work with agencies from USDA to NASA.

Everything comes back to soil. If you can understand those processes, you can help really make a difference.

Why study soils? Because they are 'talking' and it takes knowledge to understand what they are 'saying'.
