Surprise video, we've got a planet to implode. This was filmed ENTIRELY in game!

This was filmed only in a few hours and edited in a day as a test to see if I could manage to make something I enjoyed with hard limitations on time. Super fun major order!

I love your videos. You nail it every time. This is what we faced down there.

SES Herald of Peace. First mission on Meridia was level 8, dark fluid, with three Super Irishmen. Never failed, but it always came down to the wire. I witnessed the whole operation from start to end, then was sent back after everyone else was forced to leave. I've seen the other side. Turns out the forced FTL evacuations and celebrations were premature. The "black hole" didn't resemble or behave like the simulations, and worse, Meridia was still down there. Some Commanders rounded up at least eight volunteers in the official Galactic-War and Game-Master channels. I joined the SES Wings of Liberty. We dove in to see if a few more injections of dark fluid might finish the job, and spaghettifi Meridia for good.

None of us thought we'd be going home. The planet's worse than ever. But if the scientists are right, and all our sacrifices were worth it, then maybe that hellhole stays buried. Maybe it really is a black hole sucking up all the sector's Terminid spores. But it only seems to pull on our ships as hard as denser stars. And whenever I touch things, or listen to silence, or try to sleep... I feel intangible, like I'm not really here. Like I'm still *down there.* Instead of that familiar post-battle ringing in my ears, I hear the resonance of the Pelican straining upward through a tunnel with no light at the end. It sang like the mourning of iron stars and whale calls from the deep.

Final fantasy 15 had a cool thing where one of the dudes in your party was a photographer and every time you started the night somewhere (to save the game) you could see pics of cool moments from the day. It would be sweet if they did that at the end of a mission.

A bittersweet moment gor this Helldiver... Meridia was my first dive, and was my old stomping grounds for when the bots were the focus. I spent so much time on that planet that it basically became my home. My personal headcannon is that that first diver stayed on planet untill the end, and watched his home break around him.
