The construction companies are not going to make the houses any more affordable so people will still not goingto be able to afford them.

However, the Labour Party won't budge on their commitment to the two child benefit cap, and Kendall herself doesn't seem to have any solutions to offer.

Once we've built on every inch of land where will we get our food from? Import it? but what if there's a war which is getting more and more likely? We will starve at we won't be able to sustain ourselves.
Are you going to make the house builders build sewage works for all the added sewage produced from these extra people? Just a silly idea, people don't want extra houses near them so why don't we use disused quarries build some blocks of flats (house more people with a smaller footprint) with shops bars restaurants with ample parking in them, can't been seen by other residents but will have everything they need.
You can only build so many houses on an island that's shrinking due to erosion, why don't we do what they've done in Holland and start to reclaim land from the sea. I've loads more wacky ideas that could work and save the country some money to help pay for all this, labour party feel free to contact me ;)
