Great mix! This is indeed how it should have been on the album. I have always imagined the intro and the proper song combined in a unit. This is excactly how I imagined it to be. It not only benefits both sections by giving them more depth and meaning, but it also raises the pleasure of listening to them.

This song, The X Aspect and A New Beginning are the only songs I really like on the Astonishing. There are some good segments in other songs as well, but as a whole those three are the only ones that stands out for me. The rest I can be without. I still wish that those three songs would have been released on a proper DT album and not on this conceptual mess.

This is so well done and I couldn't agree more it fits perfectly like this. I guess they were limited because of the concept of the album and the song was strategically placed for the story. But music wise this version is so much better.
