The one “don’t make plans in front of people who aren’t invited” is so true. Im NEVER invited to any of my friends house, and when they make plans in front of me even though I’m not invited. Like not even being someone’s choice is hard, and now knowing you’ll never be invited to anyone’s house.

One time my friends didn’t like this girl and we sat by her at lunch. One of my friends brought up my bday party in front of the other girl who wasn’t invited. I got upset about that and invited her. Everyone got mad that she was here, but me and her became best friends. I’m glad I invited her.

Bro my old friends used to talk about their plans in front of me towards the end of our friendship. And it got to the point where I had to distance myself. To all the people getting left out: you have two choices. 1- you either make it known that you want to be more involved and talk to them about how you feel or just involve yourself even more (which I didn’t do- I feel like it seems like they don’t want to involve you in the first place so why involve yourself where you aren’t wanted. I hate this choice!). Or 2- you distance yourself away from your “friends” (don’t feel bad- sometimes they can be good people just not good friends, there is a difference). I picked 2- they would talk about going out, they had sleepovers, they had boyfriends had the teenage experience that I always wanted- and they all got invited to a party and I didn’t and not a single one of them made the effort to ask the host to invite me, the worst she could’ve said was NO…but at least you asked- that shows me that you care about me and wanting me to be apart of experiences and memories. So I feel like I vented a lot just now but the good thing about our generation is the fact that we can communicate on the internet together without even knowing each other at all, yet we have similar experiences and it’s just so great. But I keep going on and on but these rules are definitely 💯

the thing is that if I like defend and stand up for my friend in public when they’re wrong then the person they are *arguing* or fighting with will think I’m also “bad” etc so I rather just stay quiet and then tell her in private that it was wrong
