BLIND BARYONYX EXPLAINED! - Jurassic World Chaos Theory

Jurassic World Chaos Theory Season 2 introduced us to one of the most interesting and unique dinosaur designs in the entire franchise! The Leucitic Baryonyx. However, this Dinosaur's Leucism wasn't the main thing about this creature as we can see that its eyes have been completely removed during it's development process! Today, we explore the exact reasoning behind this decision and what it could mean for the future of the Jurassic Franchise!

Baryonyx is my favourite dinosaur. I was extremely pleased to see it appear in the Jurassic franchise

The blind baryonyx was pretty cool and designed well, however it’s sad that they would do that to dinosaurs tbh

I think it's a real shame that Baryonyx seems to be so disliked, it's one of my favourite Dinosaurs in and out of the franchise, it was one of the things I looked forward to most in FK, and Chaos, Grim, and Limbo are one of the top 3 things I loved about CC (though due to ambiguity, I prefer to believe that Limbo was injured, but not killed)
I guess I can see where people might be coming from with the design, but I personally don't mind the implied inclusion of croc DNA (if that's meant to account for the osteoderms and broader snout), as I think it gives the Baryonyx a greater resemblance to it's Spinosaurus cousin from JP3, who also has a somewhat armoured back and broader snout, not to mention that neither posses the single central crest from the fossil record, which just enhances their similarities as far as I'm concerned (plus, I think the thicker snout does make it seem more formidable/intimidating in regards to biting/killing humans)
I also wonder if it's due to this dislike that Baryonyx seems to be getting the short end of the stick more often than other Theropods, even discounting FK's lava and auction scenes:
Rexy injures/kills one simply guarding it's nest in one of those VR shorts
Grim gets shot and killed 😢💔
Chaos and Limbo lose Grim after a search-and-rescue, then get separated themselves 💔
Limbo gets mind-controlled, then thrashed by Big Eatie to a greater extent than the other chipped Dinosaurs (again, I prefer to believe he survived) 😢
the juvenile in Dominion is forced to fight so often it loses it's left arm, and at least some sight in it's left eye (hard to confirm, but I made sure of this fact) 😢💔
and now a new Baryonyx has been denied the ability to see (or experience the outside world, rather like the Indoraptor), then left to die in an explosion 😢

in short, I think Baryonyx deserves better, although I guess this Leucistic Baryonyx did that in a way

I feel like this is the correct way to build on the science fiction of Jurassic World. It seems like they realized that those robots- that I can’t remember the name of- from season 4 wasn’t the right direction. I think we should definitely encourage this direction, since Jurassic has always been a genetic engineering franchise, and always should be.

The baryonyx is a cool dinosaur I am glad that it has gotten more love and appearances within the franchise my favorite baryonyx's where the trio from camp cretaceous and the eyeless/blind white colored baryonyx.

this is not related to the vid but i hope in season 3 there will be a showdown between red the atrociraptor and blue the velociraptor they are kinda like opposites like for example red is a red raptor with white stripes and blue is a gray raptor with blue stripes red is evil blue is good blah blah u get the point
