I dont think ANY laptop manufacture has screwed up on putting in the wrong CPU, RAM or Video card. If anything it would be labeled incorrectly. Even then, I highly doubt that too. It would be your fault for not checking the details of the computer before purchasing.

For keyboard i suggest installing switch hitter, that way it can tell whether a key is functioning properly or not, it can also detect keychatter
