First I though: “Who wouldn’t know how to find Brazil, Germany, UK and Finland in a map?!” But then I remember that there is a weird country out there that measure things in elbows per washing machines farenheit, and they are very… special.

how can you forget Nelson Piquet who was world champion 3 times, created the tire warm-up before changing, and helped develop the active suspension

”Finland isn’t known for its racing culture” WRC disagrees.

Finland isn't exactly "not known for their race car drivers". In almost any international motorsport, there's been a slew of Finns racing and winning. For example Finland was the undisputed number one home of WRC champions before the domination of the two Sebastiens taking the top number of championships to France. And even now, Finland has overwhelmingly the biggest number of champions.

BTW, talking about Loeb and Ogier, what's up with the trend of long lasting champions in F1 and especially WRC in the last 20 years? In F1 it's been mostly Schumacher, Vettel and Hamilton, and in WRC almost exclusively Loeb and Ogier. It's almost as if the two sports have gone stale and the same drivers are practically meant to win multiple times, instead of having to seriously compete for their titles most of the time.

That "German" engine in the McLaren was made in the UK by Ilmor Engineering, like all the Mercedes engines in F1 in this era from 1995 onwards, Ilmor is now called Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains and are still based in Northamptonshire UK.

The love of F1 in Brazil is rising again, I can assure you... this 2021 season was so amazing and a lot of people kept talking about it here... We have hopes that Pietro can succeed, Drugovich in F2 is also doing great... And honestly... F1 here did not die with Senna... it died in Austria, 2004, when Rubens Barrichello let Michael Schumacher pass...

I was staying with an older English couple in Belgium once. I noticed a photo of the wife sitting in James Hunt’s lap during his time in F1.
When I asked her about it, she just smiled and said, “I knew him once for four days.”

Everybody who knows something about racing knew that Finland will be on the list.

Finland is also second in Rally champions, having taken home 14 titles with just 7 drivers 8 of those titles were earned by two drivers, 4 each.

The only country that has us beat is France with their superhuman drivers Sébastien Loeb who took home all 9 of his titles in a row (2004-12) and Sébastien Ogier who almost got the same 9 consecutive titles (2013-18 and 2020-21)

Finnish champions are not overly surprising when you look at how many times Finns have won World Rally Championships with Tommi Makkinen and Juha Kankinnen and many others.

If you go back through all the record books and base champions on where each driver had their official residence at the time of winning, then Monaco (Monte Carlo) would be Second.

Australia has had 17 F1 drivers. Two drivers have won championships, With four titles total. Sir Jack Brabham was the first and only driver to win the F1 world championship driving one of his own cars.

Love your channel, but you mentioned great British drivers without listing Jimmy Clark or Sir Stirling Moss. Also, Mercedes didn't "hit a slump after the mid-1950s, they withdrew from all racing for over 30 years after a Mercedes car killed over 80 spectators at LeMans in 1955.
