Important update! The planets have been renamed, so here is a description to help you find them regardless of their names:
1) Apex Predator - Visit a frostbound moon in the system where the "Drop Zone Three" milestone planet is located
2) Purple Mist - Visit a Violent planet (with "dissonance detected" trait) in the system where the "Drop Zone Four" milestone planet is located
3) Iron Giants - Visit a Viridescent planet (with "Aggressive Sentinels" trait) in the system where the "Drop Zone Five" milestone planet is located

This is by far the fastest full-length guide I have made within 10 hours of the game update! Hope it will be helpful! 🔥

For anyone looking for the Apex predator place. It’s in the Rendezvous 4 system. If you landed at the space station on that system. It’ll show “Rendezvous 4” below the space station name when using a teleporter. It’s the “Icy Planet” biome moon. The creature in question is a rare spawn so you might be there a while.

For the “Blood in the water” mission in that same system on the “Freezing Planet” type biome planet you can go into the water and shoot the tentacle creatures.

When you complete the expedition make sure you switch to the multitool and ship you want to copy on your main save if not you will lose them I lost a orange royal multitool this way

Thanks man, blood in water was the one i was stuck on. Except that quest i did everything so fast i was the first to discover rendezvous 3 system but for some reason the discoverer changed today.

This is the best video on NMS expeditions I have ever seen. I literally only have two criticisms. I'd have preferred if you gave some more reminders on activating those save charter thingies for the "Independant Action" milestone, like mention it whenever you're near the dropzones, and I wish that you had mentioned some of the milestones that you can grab simultaneously like the minotaur ones. I grabbed the kill 50 enemies minotaur milestone near the end when I was farming for the 4 Sentinal Walker kills. Other than that, great video!

I went on a separate save that's not in the expedition and the community progress bar and mech rewards still show up. Do we really have to wait in the expedition until the entire bar is filled or can we just end it and wait in our main save
