Vigil held for trauma nurse killed in brutal attack at Union Station

Friends and colleagues gathered to remember Sandra Shells. She died days after she was attacked by a man experiencing homelessness at a bus stop.

Three senseless attacks by homeless people resulted in 3 deaths. An asian woman was pushed in front of a train in NYC, the UCLA grad student stabbed to death, and this nurse. People should be helped to get off the streets, but when they refuse to be sheltered because of the rules, it's not acceptable to camp on streets. Stop dumping money down the drain; the only way to resolve homeless issues is to make it much less comfortable than accepting help and following the laws.
