Great looking guitar but $1000+ for Made in Korea is a bit steep. I purchased a Fender MIJ model for considerably less. I'd expect a MIK guitar to sell in the $500 range, not $1000+...

I have an original model of the Pure Salem Wood Soul in red and I love it, plays sounds and looks great. I highly recommend these guitars, and as a lefty I'm happy to support a lefty-friendly company. As for the Cardinal, I love the idea of a non-reverse Firebird shape, but I don't care for the Tele-style headstock. I'm also not keen on a single coil bridge pup unless it's a P90, but that's just me. Lastly, PS have made some odd decisions with their color options - I mean, how many pink guitars do they really think they'll sell??? Surely the 14 year-old girl market is not the path to success. Apart from that, great guitars.

a firebird nonreverse body and a telecaster headstock... that´s whats this cardinal is.
I'm trying to understand this PureSalem guitars since they do some weird guitars (and ìm into weird guitars), but this strategy of making frakeinstein collages of other models didn't convince me quite yet.
For a while, just get a Gibson firebird non reverse.
